This full day guided tour from Hobart showcases the “essentials” of Bruny Island while giving you the freedom to choose your own inclusions throughout the day. 

The first stop of the day is South Bruny National Park for a guided tour of Cape Bruny Lighthouse, exclusive to Bruny Island Safaris. Cape Bruny Lighthouse is the only Lighthouse open for tours in Southern Tasmania. Here, you will learn about the island’s maritime history from a local Bruny Island Guide and take in the incredible views from the Lighthouse balcony. 

Throughout the day, we will visit some of Bruny Island’s most iconic eateries, including Bruny Island Cheese Company, Get Shucked Oysters, Bruny Island Chocolate Co, Bruny Island Honey and the famous Bruny Baker Bread Fridges. There will be time to browse, sample and purchase local products at each stop. 

The tour also includes a visit to The Truganini Lookout at The Neck, a drive through Adventure Bay in search of the Bennett’s white wallaby, time in Lunawanna to purchase lunch, and a stop at the historic Two Tree Point.

Visit the historic Two Tree Point at Adventure Bay. First painted by Lieutenant George Tobin in 1792, now a beautiful photo stop.
