Bruny Island Honey – The Honey Pot is the shopfront of Tasiliquid Gold, the apiary business of Graham, Jacky and Natalie Wright. We’ve been keeping bees for over 25 years in apiary sites around Southern Tasmania including Bruny Island. We take the bees to Lake Pedder, to Bruny Island, and to the Huon and Derwent Valleys, where they collect Leatherwood and Bush, Prickly Box and Manuka Honey – available to visit on request.
Smokehouse Factory Outlet “The Smokehouse Factory Outlet”, Our last stop whilst waiting for the ferry – you can visit the factory outlet before the ferry departs. The Bruny Island Smokehouse Factory Outlet specialises in premium wholesale smoked produce such as Salmon, Trout, Chicken and Wallaby. Smokehouse owner Tony McLaine sources fresh local produce from the island and hot smokes the meats in a neat functional smoker. A true local of the island.
